The Southern Oregon Pickleball Association (SOPA) is a 501c7 organization that offers promotion for the growth and development of pickleball. We’re devoted to providing the equipment,
facilities, and instruction that encourages newcomers and players at any level of
expertise to have a successful, healthy, and fun pickleball experience. We strive to
increase opportunities for community members to play by sponsoring clinics,
tournaments, and community outreach.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Pickleball was created for all ages and skill levels with simple rules and easy for beginners to learn. Advanced players can enjoy a quick, fast-paced, competitive game. Pickleball can be played badminton-sized court or a modified tennis court. The game is played as doubles or singles, indoors or outdoors, with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes.
