I have been working with Mark Collier to develop a schedule that works for all players. The 4.5 folks want some court time for themselves. They requested Monday & Wednesday evenings at Fruitdale Park in Grants Pass. As we have portable nets and I purchased a leaf blower for the club, I agreed that we would play Wednesdays at 6 PM at Lawnridge Park in Grants Pass. Times, days & places remain as previously announced with the exception of moving to Lawnridge on Wednesdays. PM me for directions if you need them. See you on the court! ... See more
Revised play schedule for Fruitdale Park, Grants Pass. Those players that responded to a time to play survey preferred playing Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday at 2 PM & Wednesday & Friday nights at 6 PM. Thus, the outdoor schedule is revised to those times, weather permitting. If we have a large group of players, we can move some to Lawnridge Park & set up 2 portable nets. ... See more

First organized nighttime play at Fruitdale Park in Grants Pass under the lights. They worked very well. No shadows at all. Second photo shows all 3 courts.
Fruitdale Park Grants Pass summer play schedule: I’ve talked with several players and they seem to like playing Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday at 2 PM & Every night Monday through Friday at 6 PM. These times are weather permitting. Looking at the long range weather, Sunday looks like the first possible play day. 3 permanent nets, flush toilets, drinking fountain, asphalt parking. No fee.
